A hotel I can’t give anything other than a glowing review for… I travel around Europe a lot for work and the Artagonist Art Hotel is simply my favourite, regardless of location, genuinely. I probably can’t do how much I love staying here justice but it feels each time (I think I’m up to 7 stays so far!) like I’m coming home. The hotel is exceptionally good value imo, the rooms beautiful and clean, the corridors enchanting and intimate, breakfast room and offering delicious, but the best thing about it is the staff. They just can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay, and all the little touches (welcome liquor chocolates) and fancy artwork everywhere, with every room decorated slightly differently but with a very modern smarty style, are what make it such a great place to stay. Also very well situated in the beautiful Vilnius Old Town, with many restaurants and sights within walking distance - one specific recommendation for food is just maybe 100m walk away, Saint Germain, with its delicious French food. It’s so nice when the receptionists say „welcome back“, and I’d never consider staying anywhere else in Vilnius, now that I’ve been so blessed to have found this gem of a hotel - thank you Artagonist Art!
Quite hard to lable the experience in the correct category, but here are the main positive and negative sides. I would like to state that the 4.8 google review is a bit over agadurated. The overall service and rooms are fine, in addition the location is very good but the biggest dissatisfaction was the breakfast buffet and the quality of the food. Very minimalistic buffet for a 4 star hotel that serves the most cheapest and low quality food. To be honest I would stay here again and eat breakfast somewhere else.
The location is great and rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are also helpful. However, the curtains in the room just never close properly, so you can never enjoy sleeping in a dark room. Despite there being space for a closet and a fridge, both are missing. The worst however was the breakfast which is definitely not 4 stars.
