We had a generally positive stay! The hotel is located a bit outside of town, so I’d definitely recommend having a car to get there and move around with ease. One of the highlights for me was the outdoor pool—it exceeded expectations, especially considering the mixed reviews. The pool attendant was incredibly friendly and even gave us sunbeds for free both days. Since we didn’t reserve an umbrella, he thoughtfully set us up under the trees for natural shade at no extra charge. Really appreciated that. Otherwise: the estate is very big, looks amazing and imposing, very modern and artsy, and they are also pet-friendly. The only downer was the Breakfast. It was a bit underwhelming and bland. The options were pretty basic, and the focaccia was unfortunately dry and squishy, not the best in quality, nor where there much fruits / veggies. Nevertheless : soy milk was offered, which is a rarity in Italy usually. More vegan options could have been offered. What really made the stay memorable was the massage service. For €28, we got a solid 25-minute full body treatment. Luana and Lina, the massage therapists, were amazing—super professional and very easy to communicate with in English, German and Italian. Both incredibly sweet and kind and they helped me relief my back pain a lot and even gave me a tour of the place, very sweet! Just a heads-up: the indoor pool is closed till October (if I remember correctly, I was told this).
My experience was good overall. The location is definitely outside the town, so having a car is essential to reach the property and get around comfortably. The outdoor pool was actually a pleasant surprise, despite the many negative reviews. The pool attendant was extremely kind—he offered us free sunbeds on both days, and since we hadn’t booked an umbrella, he placed our beds under the natural shade of the trees at no extra cost. A genuinely nice gesture. Breakfast, however, could definitely be improved. The selection was quite limited, with only a few cakes and a focaccia that was dry and of low quality. What truly stood out was the massage experience: €28 for 25 minutes. The two massage therapists, Luana and Lina, were fantastic! They provided a full body massage and also focused on specific areas of tension. They both spoke excellent English and German, which made communication very easy. One thing to note: the indoor pool is currently closed.
Pros; easy to find, free parking in front of the hotel, friendly staff, free upgrade to superior room because the fridge was not working properly, awesome pool!! (clean, big, relaxing atmosphere) and good housekeeping. Cons: bit remote, you need a car to get around, there's nothing in the area, unexpected and really unnecessary fee for poolside beds (7.50 per bed, also extra fee for an umbrella), the alternative is to lay on the grass with your towel .... Very weird. Terrible breakfast.
