Arthouse Hotel New York City

This is a gem of a hotel. It is actually very large but manages to feel boutique. Excellent lobby and room staff. The bar serves as a coffee and (very good) pastry area from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. and the bar service is also very good. My wife enjoys a well made martini (to her specs of course) and this one was really good. Surprising how often that isn't true. The location was great, the beds comfortable and we were able to request a quiet room..., which it was (even in the heart of NYC). To cap things off, we ordered a taxi to JFK the night before had to leave early. They suggested a limo service at only fractionally more than a regular cab - it was roomy, comfortable, delightful driver, and the perfect way to end our visit. P.S. if you want a fun restaurant recommendation in easy walking distance, I would suggest Haven. You're welcome!

The Arthouse is a great hotel. So convenient to Times Square by bus and train. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I absolutely love the area around the hotel. Very safe and lots of restaurants. Walking distance to the Museum of Natural history as well. Definitely my go to hotel.

This place has history which was very cool. When we first checked in the man checking us in must have had a bad day. But the rest of the staff were great. The room was plain ,no refrigerator to put drinks or leftovers in. The beds however we're comfortable. The USB plug in was not working. So if you are looking for a plain room this is perfect. The location was perfect, you had so many nice places close and central park was right up the block.
