This hotel rudely violates the principles of its parent company. Despite being kindly asked to help the volunteers and sterilize the cats which have lived there for ages and were adored by both the personnel and guests, the hotel administration ignored all the letters and allowed unknown people to drag cats away and kill them. Fate of many cats is still unknown. This is pure animal cruelty, and justice for the lost souls must be served. Another hotel would be happy to have cats on its territory but not this one. I certainly will not recommend this hotel to anyone no matter what.

I came across a story about this spa actively trying to get rid of the cats that live on or around the property. I’ve never been a client here — and now I never will be. Even if the place looks beautiful on the outside, choosing to remove innocent animals from their home is cruel, soulless, and inhumane. Cats are peaceful, intuitive creatures. They bring warmth, calm energy, and even a kind of spiritual presence. For a wellness space to treat them like pests says a lot about its values. If a spa can’t coexist with the gentlest forms of life, I wonder how they treat people who don’t “fit in.” A place that disconnects itself from empathy is not a sanctuary — it’s a shell. And no truly healing space can exist without compassion at its core.

Stayed at this place once many years ago but will never go again. There is this story about this particular hotel using the so-called “black” unlicensed trappers who catch the cats who live on the premises, with subsequent euthanasia. It was told that official letters have been sent to the hotel and the parent company about violating the standards of the Accor Solidarity Program; the Planet 21 policy; Commitments under the International Green Key eco certification with no response. Volunteers offered the hotel Management ways they could help solve these issues but the hotel refused. Don’t recommend going there if you don’t want to support cruelty towards animals.
