Yet again a faultless holiday at this beautiful hotel. Superb breakfast and we had 3 evening meals on booking. Great to see that the gym has had new equipment installed. A special note about the staff who are so welcoming and friendly - 10 out of 10 for customer services. If you want a lovely relaxing break with excellent views from your room...........the Artiem cant be beaten. PS we booked a corner room with sweeping extended balcony and its more money but absolutely worth it ! Back again next year.
I'm absolutely mesmerised by the service we got at this hotel!!! I called in as we were looking for a nice place by the water where we could get food and get a little work done on our laptops while we waited for our flight. They were super nice on the phone making sure there were plugs in the terrace so we could work from there. When we arrived they immediately asked if we would like towels to use the pool and they even allowed us to use their spa for free! We had amazing food with an amazing view, got some work done, some pool time a sea dip and some cocktails. I recommend the mango margarita! The service was the best and I low key want to come back to Menorca just to actually stay here.
A hard one to review as my initial impression of the hotel was one of disappointment and the kerb appeal isn’t great but this one of the few negatives about the place. Once inside the foyer it was clear that the hotel is clean and the staff are amazing, kind and welcoming. The rooms are fairly spacious and the bathroom larger than average, they are cleaned daily with fresh towels if required. The pool are consists of an upper deck where the pool is (same level as the reception and eating terrace) and a lower deck where there is a small infinity pool. The pool area has recently been retiled I believe so is nice and clean with ample space and sunbeds, the pool itself is a good size with a chair lift should you require it. The lower deck is smaller and it would appear that people who revisit the hotel on a regular basis like to congregate down there and the beds are taken very early in a morning. The decking gets very hot in the sun and also requires a bit of work as quite uneven and loose in places. The restaurant and dining area are amazing, it would be almost impossible to come away and say the food was poor or there wasn’t something you liked, this apply to both breakfast and evening meal. Most of the main hot dishes are cooked to order and in front of you with a wide choice of meats and fish. One other slight negative, but depends on what you want is the bar area in an evening lacks atmosphere, there is the occasional singer but I would change your evenings plans to stay at the hotel and watch, the bar also likes to close at 10-30pm or 11 if you are lucky. We where HB but also like to have a wander in the evening and if you are like minded there is a fishing harbour 15mins walk away which has 15/20 restaurants and small bars all at a very reasonable price. 5 mins walk from the hotel is the Hamilton which is another Jet2 hotel, for me this is a must visit place there is a roof top bar with hot tubs where you can watch the sunset and has spectacular views across the bay. You are made to feel very welcome and you can stay and watch the entertainment if you would like, this hotel is much larger and busier than the Artiem and would have suited me better but this would be a personal choice All in all it’s a great little hotel with fantastic staff who really make the stay personal, I wouldn’t say it was worthy of have the Luxe tag but you won’t be disappointed either.
