Artja Inn 2

I've been around Bali for over a month and Artja Inn Ubud is my favorite place to stay. I even booked 2 additional weeks. It's in the middle of Ubud but at the same time, tucked away in a quiet space, where I enjoyed my peace and privacy. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a terrace overlooking a little garden. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast (which is included daily) – including hot water for coffee or tea. There’s an aircon, good WiFi, and even a desk, which was perfect for me to do some work. But what really made my stay were the people. The family running it are super friendly, genuinely helpful, and hard-working. Whether I needed tips or just a chat, they were always there with a smile. They even shared some of their traditional drinks. My stay felt more like staying with family than at a guesthouse. Don't look any further if you're looking for a chill, central, affordable, and welcoming place to stay in Ubud. I’d 100% stay again if I come back to Ubud!

We stayed in Artja Inn for 5 nights. Our experience was good and the hospitality of the owners was above expected! The place is perfectly located, yet super quiet. It offers a nice terrace and a beautiful garden is home to many animals (squirrels, butterflies, birds). There is a way for some insects and geckos to enter a room (as in many other rooms in Ubud), but owner offered some repellent for it and lights up a mosquito repellent every evening. Our room was clean, yet because the river is close, there tends to be some moist. Breakfast was included in the price (yummy banana pancakes, eggs on toast and fresh fruit, coffee&tea). Good WiFi. It's not a 5 star hotel but it's good value for money.

Really lovely stay in Ubud central and so sweet people. Nice, clean and simple room with such a lush green garden view, I really loved to sit outside and watch the rain or just enjoy breakfast there. Yummi pancakes were our favourite and we still talk about them. Most importantly, so so quiet even though the first entrance is at the busy market it was a surprise to arrive in such a peaceful and place! If you travel on a budget like us 10/10 would reccomend and go back! 💛 Thank you so much again and greetings from Estonia!
