Greetings. I deleted my previous review, which I think it's quite inappropriate after we have decided to extend our stay for another 4 nights. Currently we becoming used to flaws of the vicinity. It is being filled up with amazing hospitality rendered by you service team. They're very accommodating and friendly. I was just saddened when this morning I look for the guard name "Larry" or 'Noknok" and the receptionist informed us that he was no longer working. :( He's amazing, very friendly, and he even offered his umbrella when we about to roam to purchased some stuff since the hotel does not offers. When we arrived in the hotel he was so friendly that he carries all my lagguage which I said it's heavy but still he ignores it and took all my things for my convenience. Hopefully you return him to his post. Here some points hopefully the management will look forward to so you can provide better experience to your guest. - The staff , with no exceptions, they're great, amazing very hospitable, friendly and well-rounded on their job. ( Again, especially guard Larry. I booked a smoking room since it is offered online but when we book the room all rooms are non smoking) And often I go down to have my smoke and I always enjoy doing chitchat with the guard Larry. That is why it saddened me when he I heard he was transferred. He's always there on his post all the time and it takes my boredom in staying in the room since I have someone which very friendly. Now transferred, :(. - Very Accessible to all. - The room , lots of small coackroaches. Daily we kills around 10 of them. - Towels , worn out. It looks disgusting on our first day. Good thing , the housekeeping provide us better towels on following day.. It was not good as what the phostos look like but at least it quite better than the first day. - No cupboards, closet where we can place our belongings. No chance to hang our use towels since no hangers as well. But the receptionist said they can provide. - No Kettle. Sad to say I have to go out the hotel just to purchase coffee after a wake up since no kettle in the room. Or the whole hotel. At least,if you can have hot water available on the reception so we will not go out to buy coffee which as well it is your guest safety. - No fridge. - TV offer only 1 channel GMA 7. It can't connect to network even it is a smart TV. Hopefully you pay attention to some of these details. And hopefully you return the Guard Manong Larry on his post here in Arzo Hotel Makati. You really lost an excellent guard of the hotel.

We were going to stay for the day and we arrived early prior to checking in. Our front desk named “Jovelyn” looked a little stressed. We understood at first given the industry she’s working in and proceeded with checking in. Off the bat, whenever we asked a question she would answer in an off-putting way like in a grumpy and rude tone. We asked for early check in but she insisted on letting us wait til 2 pm telling us that they dont have any available rooms. After a few mins she asked what time we would like to have our early check in. We answered 1pm, she informed us of the 100 peso extra charge for the early check in. 10 mins before 1pm we asked her if we could now check in, she said that the early check in still wasnt sure as the rooms arent finished yet, still having her rude tone. She took a break after that and we just asked housekeeping if the rooms are done. Thankfully housekeeping was very kind and helped us with the process more than the front desk did. We were checked in shortly after housekeeping and their supervisor helped us. We later knew after checking out that rooms were already available the moment we walked in after we asked the now new front desk to verify. The stay was decent but the initial experience was ruined because of the agent named “jovelyn”.

Booked the hotel through Agoda because of its cheap price. But well, you get what you paid for. -The location is good since it's near the road so you won't have a hard time with public transport. -The staffs are also excellent especially the lady in reception who checked us in (forgot to ask her name). We came at midnight and was very exhausted from a flight but the room was absolutely disgusting. The bedsheets are stained, there's a lot of small cockroaches in the floor. It was terrible. We requested the reception to give us another which she's patient enough to give us new room choices and we settled in a room which is acceptable (not too clean, not too dirty). We bought our own insect killer from the nearby store since we're scared about the cockroaches and small pests roaming around the room. -The bedsheets is another story. You can smell that it's washed but it's not visibly pleasing to the eyes since it has a lot of stains and it's not white anymore. -Also note that there's no fridge, no cupboard to hang your clothes and no kettle in the room. You need to borrow the kettle from the reception and return it after use. -Overall the stay was okay if you're in a tight budget. One thing that is good is the staffs. They're nice. The reception, guards, housekeeping, all of them are smiling and greeting us everytime we're going out. The room could be improved especially the cleanliness and hopefully they will buy new sheets.
