AS Hotel dei Giovi

Although it is an older property, it is well maintained and does not show signs of aging. The room is spacious, clean, and has a comfortable bed. The hotel provides a good breakfast. It is conveniently located between Milan and Como. Despite being next to the highway, the room was quiet. Additionally, there are several supermarkets just a 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which adds to the convenience. I would definitely stay there again.

What can I say about this place, it is absolutely fantastic. If i could put 6 stars I would. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, the décor was beautiful and the bed was from heaven. I had the best night sleep that I have had in a long time. The bathroom is fantastic, I loved the shower heads especially. The facilities provided were exceptional, extra pillows, slippers, extra blankets, even a dirty laundry bag to take dirty clothes home in. I have never had that before! The free breakfast was the cherry on top, sufficient options and a hot drinks machine was fantastic. I love scrambled eggs and they had it so I was very happy. The only thing i would say is that its quite a far walk to the train station if you wish to use public transport. not sure about a bus stop nearby as I didn't look. its about a half an hour walk to the train station. We were extremely happy with the stay and would definitely stay again.

I would actually like to give zero stars. My boyfriend and I went to the motel and were initially surprised by how nice it looked and how practical it was to be able to park directly in front of the room. But when we tried to fill the Jacuzzi, (after I removed the hair in it and bought antibacterial spray that I used for for 10minutes) black little specks came out of the faucet and the bubbles didn’t work. We called the front desk, and the man told us we could switch to another room. At the reception, we saw a sign saying that sexual services could be booked at this motel, and we noticed that several older men had arrived alone by car. In the other room, we then noticed that there were stains all over the walls and floor, and the room smelled like sex and cigarettes, which made us think that a sexual encounter must have taken place there shortly before. A big piece of the bed was ripped out. So we went back to the reception and returned to the previous room, where we then noticed, upon closer inspection, that there were also stains and flaws everywhere. The pillows were like 1cm high. Maybe the bed isn’t really concept for sleeping, if you know what I mean. And then all of a sudden the toilet water didn’t work anymore. The receptionist refused to give us a discount since we had already paid in advance. I was so disgusted the entire night that I could hardly sleep. The next day at checkout, we even had to pay 8 francs for the snacks. What a nightmare. Wanted to have a nice weekend in Milano and ended up in something like a really dirty and nasty Bordell.
