Ascot House Hotel

We arrived extremely late because of traffic and the lady who runs the hotel was extremely accommodating on the phone and made arrangements for us to be able to get in even though we were very late. The building is beautiful and the rooms are really nice. Bathroom particularly is gorgeous and very spacious. Breakfast was cooked to order and was really nice. The lady who runs this hotel is extremely pleasant and helpful. A short walk from the beach and in a very quiet location. Lovely to be able to relax on the balcony listening to the seagulls. Perfect.

We had a wonderful stay with our family! The hosts were warm and welcoming, even offering us complimentary breakfast. The location is fantastic—within easy walking distance to most attractions, which made everything super convenient.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp linens and plush pillows that made for a perfect night’s sleep. I also appreciated how spotlessly clean and well-maintained everything was, including the modern bathroom with its high-end finishes. There was a peaceful, quiet atmosphere throughout the property, allowing for complete relaxation. It’s clear that the owners have put great care into creating a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming. I left feeling refreshed and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to return on my next trip to Torquay.
