Stayed 2N in a 1 Bedroom Premier (front desk was able to accommodate early check in that day around noon). Apartment has ample space, with separate living room, kitchenette with large fridge (with washing machine hidden cleverly) and master bedroom. This is a service apartment after all, and our room (501) overlooks the swimming pool. 5min walk from 石牌桥 Shipaiqiao MRT station (south of Taikoo Hui), and 15min ride to 北京路步行街 Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, 25min to shopping enclave 永庆访 Yong Qing Fang, 30min to 沙面岛 Shamian Island. Pro > Location is right opposite Taikoo Hui shopping mall > 30min Didi ride from Baiyun Intl Airport > Excellent water control / temp / pressure in the toilet, including walk-in shower with 4 spray setting handheld showerhead > Windows can open outwards; air con control avail in bedroom and living room > Lots of power outlet plugs throughout the apartment > Convenience store is 2min walk away (just behind the hotel, next to main road). > 2 hidden pillows in cupboard, lots of clothes hangers as well! > Car drop off / pick up almost at doorstep of hotel (2 steps up with side ramp, but not fully sheltered), taxis are always lined up nearby near Taikoo Hui north entrance (next to Mandarin Oriental), Didi is always within a min to secure Con > Room feels slightly dated, but still comfortable enough for 2 pax > No luggage rack Overall, a solid base to explore Tianhe region, with main shopping stretch
Booked 2 bedroom apartment. Room was old, cabinets in kitchen were not well maintained. Breakfast was good though.
⸻ The hotel is clean and well-organized, but be aware: I was asked to pay a 1,000 CNY deposit, which they said would be refunded. Unfortunately, I still haven’t received the refund, even though I didn’t use any of the hotel’s facilities. The same thing happened to my colleague, who made a separate reservation at the same time. He also hasn’t received his deposit back. We’ve contacted the hotel in both Chinese and English, but there has been no response from management. Very disappointing experience.
