Ashbrook Motel Taupo

I’ve stayed at Ashbrook Motel multiple times now, and every visit has been consistently excellent. The staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really makes a difference and sets the tone for a comfortable stay. The accommodation is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip—whether it’s a quick overnight stay or a longer visit. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and clearly looked after with care. The location is also perfect—just a short distance from the lakefront and town centre, but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Ashbrook Motel is my go-to every time I’m in Taupo, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, and friendly accommodation.

I had such a great experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly polite and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with my stay!! Unfortunately the spa bath in our room they upgraded us to wasn’t working was disappointing but none the less the spa was very spacious and nice to soak in after a long day. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. I really appreciated the friendly and accommodating attitude of everyone I interacted with. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Thank you for the excellent service and for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Absolutely loved our stay at this property the host was super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home, the room was nice and clean and tidy and very comfortable, would love to stay again next time we visit Taupo, close location to town and lake.
