Ashoka Inn

Really had a peaceful stay. The room was quite adequate for a couple with child. Clean bathrooms and restaurant available for food. The staff was also friendly. Auto stand available directly opposite to the hotel. It's a 3 min ride to Vadakkumnadhaan temple.

I stayed at Ashoka Inn, Thrissur, and sadly, it was not a pleasant experience. The hotel feels outdated, and the floors were shaky when walked on, which was unsettling. The bed was uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Restaurant service was poor — we waited 40 minutes for our food, only to receive the wrong order because the staff hadn’t placed it correctly in the first place. The breakfast buffet was the only redeeming part of dining, likely because it was self-service. On the plus side, the hotel offers ample parking and is conveniently located in the city center. However, if you plan to visit on a weekend when events are taking place, avoid staying on the 4th floor — the noise was unbearable. Overall, the property needs significant improvements in comfort, service, and maintenance

My parents attended a function and have been sick for over 4 days with severe food poisoning. Not just my parents atleast 30 to 40 people we know have also been affected. Its quite irresponsible and unacceptable on the hotels part that proper checks were not conducted, I doubt if the hotel follows food safety, quality and cleanliness guidelines. After what my parents had to go through, I wouldn't recommended this hotel for functions and gatherings.
