Asia Cha Am Hotel

I stayed a week at the Asia Cha-am and had a wonderful time. The property is really nice and the staff is amazing. I had an ocean view from the 10th floor and really enjoyed the sound of the water. I like to sleep with windows open and the breeze was perfect. The front desk staff was great, checked me in and held my bag until my room was ready. On check out day, I had a hard time getting a Grab car at 5:30am, but the receptionist was able to call a cab to get me to the train on time. The bell men were very friendly and always greeted me with a “hello” and a smile. The room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool was a bonus, great views of ChaAm and the ocean. The location of this property is perfect, located on ChaAm beach and just over a mile to the city center. So many good restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of street food vendors close by. I would definitely recommend the Asia Cha-Am and look forward to visiting again.

Nice hotel, old style furnishings make it look a little tired but everything is of quality and very clean. There appears to be a mix of buildings/wings/annexes. Some look awful, some much better. I was in building B which was fine. Various swimming pools, that looked like they needed water maintenance, very cloudy. No food or drinks consumed on the premises so unable to comment on this. Situated just back from a stretch of Cha Am beach which appears quite downtrodden and unclean due to other vendors and general low maintenance of buildings and businesses. The hotel is nice but location and surroundings not so much.

Ok but no very good. Room with balcony towards very close building. Can’t see anything. The sound of the AC loud and noisy can hardly fall asleep. Service good, people nice, position good.
