Highly elegant hotel run by very friendly people. The food is extremely fine with an outstanding Sushi buffet included in the daily dinner.
My husband and I stayed here to enjoy the thermal spa and saunas. The hotel itself has a nice Asian vibe and it was a very relaxing way to spend the day in the thermal pools. There is a portion of the facility that is only hotel guests, which was nice and quiet and clean. The best part was definitely the breakfast buffet and the dinner included with the stay. Delicious and good selection.
We were hoping to get an experience here that feels at least a little bit like going to an onsen in Japan or Taiwan. Sadly, the pool temperatures are rather cold, a far cry from what it's like in Japan, and for the price of one night here, you can stay at an excellent ryokan onsen in Japan for 2-3 nights. Hiking nearby is nice, but you can stay in a cheaper hotel for that.
