Asmald Palace

Very recomended. They were doing some maintanance works in some rooms and it looked pretty fine. Breakfeast recommended also. One con: DJ music at the swimming pool, it looked like if we were in Tomorroland when we were there.

Clean and comfortable rooms, lovely restaurant, excellent breakfast, very good location, quiet, nice pool area, lovely garden dining area, very friendly staff. Loved it!

The staff were incredibly accommodating. I had them arrange transportation with a private driver for a day out to Margilan and the Q'um Tep Bozori (Sunday market) which was flawless and the price correct. They were also very helpful in arranging taxis whenever I needed them. Have a translator app handy. Some staff don't speak English and I don't speak Russian or Uzbek. The room was spacious and clean. No complaints at all. They will clean your room even though the do not disturb sign is posted The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh options, and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city on foot. The only complaint is that our room was located on the second floor overlooking the pool. If you don't have earplugs like I do, it may be a little noisy. The outdoor lighting is not blocked by the room's drapery. I also felt it was a tad expensive for a town this size.
