Only a two night stay and was largely out and about so didn't make full use of the facilities. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the furniture was very comfortable. I was very impressed with the heated bathroom floors. I didn't use the breakfast facilities, however my friends did and said it was sufficient and there was a good amount of options. I did go for a swim in both the indoor and outdoor pools in the clothed pools. Both pools were relatively quiet and I was able to enjoy an hour or so of pool time. Luckily the sun was shining on my visit and the sun loungers were available for sunbathing too. The hotel has definitely won me over for health spa hotels as the facilities looked great, and there was football, tennis, and a gym.
The service is extra ordinary. We encountered only super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are nice and the overall experience with Spa and Sauna is worth the price. Also the location in central HH is super nice - BUT we encountered several situations of very unpolite, rude, arrogant body shaming from guests . Guess that's the "supposed to be elite" way of thinking. That's place needs more diversity!
I have been a member of the club for more than 3 months, here are my comments as an expat; Gym – takes place in 2 floors, very large-modern area, however it’s very crowded during after-work hours, you need to wait for your favorite fitness machine since there are only few of most used devices despite 18/20 cross-trainers / old fashioned sit&cycle machines taking the biggest space. Classes - tried few of them only, there is no English class generally, so can’t comment Spa area – That’s the best part of the club, there are several saunas & aroma-steam sessions and very cozy quiet rooms to relax. The most popular, super nice part is the heated outdoor pool which is textile-free, the comment will be ‘That’s a German tradition!’ When I ask around, I don’t see any local friends enjoying that, maybe make a survey between members and see the result.. Changing rooms/showers: Can’t you spend a bit more money and buy proper hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner.. as being a premium club? Otherwise, the staff and trainers are always very helpful and friendly, Special thanks to Sanny for the pt session!
