Assos Barbarossa Hotel Special Class

Great atmosphere, very clean rooms. All the staff was very kind, extremely helpful and positive. It was only a lady (possibly the manager) that seemed a bit tense and not so kind against hotels staff. I think she has a great team that deserves appreciation. Foods are delicious but a bit overpriced. Pool and sea is great.

We accidentally came across this hotel as we were looking for an overnight stay with kids, but ended up staying longer. It is a very nice location - in the middle of a bustling, but still peaceful area full of hotels, amazing emerald waters of Aegean right in front. The hotel was full, but it was surprisingly peaceful, considering the number of children around and mini-aquapark right in front of my balcony. Rooms were spacious, clean and neatly decorated, good amenities, comfortable beds... Personnel was very polite, especially Emir, who was extremely kind to act as an interpreter, as I don't speak Turkish. Breakfasts were plentiful, and restaurant operating on the site offered options that my picky-eater kids liked. Pools were clean, for people of different ages and swimming skills. Slides for younger children and entergainment area was also good.

There was no internet connection, no service or towels at the adult pool area. Breakfast was good, but overall restaurant service was poor. Rooms were kept clean but the water temperature in the shower was never consistent and drain was clogged.
