Asso's Place

I stayed at Asso's Place while vacationing with my wife and 13 year old son in Florence. We had a wonderful experience and Piero's apartment is beautiful. The three of us enjoyed the huge space of the apartment which has two bedrooms, two full baths, a kitchen, as well as a washing machine. It was very clean and located just a couple blocks from the Duomo. Florence was very hot while we were there and the air conditioning in the apartment worked perfectly to keep us cool when we were inside. Piero and Raffaella could not have been nicer and more accommodating as they allowed us to check in early when we arrived in Florence. They helped with restaurant reservations and they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even gave us 2 bottles of wine as welcome gifts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have spent wonderful days in Florence in the appartment. The location is absolutely perfect to visit all the sights in the city as everything is in short walking distance. The walk to the train station takes 15 minutes. The appartment is super nice, quiet and spacious. The beds are perfect (including the view of the Duomo from the bed!). Piero and Raffaella will take best care of you during the stay with lots of hints and tips if needed. Loved it!

This was the first time we used airbnb so I was a bit nervous. I researched for 2 months for the perfect place to be with my partner and my 2 kids. We founded! The place was eclectic, full of original art, and modern furniture. The beds were immaculately made with clean sheets, the kitchen opened to an Italian court yard and the living room and master the Duomo was smacked on the view!! Really? :) To me a dream come true! I love Brunelleschi and the genius in his work and I wanted to share that with my family! Florence is full of amazing art and people. I mean full! Italians live a happy and care free life, they don't judge, they live freely. We rented bikes and went everywhere in minutes. We loved it! We ate amazing food (Piero gave us great recommendations). Besides all that, Piero was really helpful and attentive to us. We had a great interaction. This would never happen if we stayed in a hotel room. We will never travel any different. I recommend you get all your museum tickets in advance, always schedule a taxi back to airport (don't listen to companies that say otherwise) and have fun! I recommend Piero's place 100 %! ”
