Of course the pool is not the huge size like in the official picture but still a great place to be. With comfortable mattresses and a great bar it's exactly what you need for a great pool experience. I enjoyed the live music in the lobby as well as in the dining area. Most of the rooms with sea view are blocked by Villa Cinqa (build in front) but if lucky you can get the sea view on top floor or some sides. Did not enjoyed the hotel beach, crowded and public, try paying chairs right across the hotel at More if looking for good vibe, cool drinks and very good restaurant.

I recently returned from my second stay at Astor Garden Hotel, drawn by its family-friendly features such as the small swimming pool and access to the aqua house. These make it an appealing choice for families with young children. However, it’s clear that the hotel could do more to meet the needs of its younger guests. There were no organised kids’ activities during our summer stay, which meant most children were left to entertain themselves, turning what should have been a relaxing holiday into a tiring one for parents. The food options were quite limited, particularly for children. While I usually managed to find something enjoyable each evening, the lack of kid-friendly meals was disappointing. Staples like plain pasta, boiled vegetables, or fish fingers were missing, and spicy dishes were not well-suited for younger palates. The menu also didn’t reflect the richness of Bulgarian cuisine. One highlight of our stay was the hotel’s excellent accessibility. We were traveling with a wheelchair user, and both the room and bathroom were spacious and easy to navigate. The hotel’s inclusive design and step-free access throughout the property deserve recognition and appreciation. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to be understaffed, which impacted the cleanliness of the rooms. Towels were not replaced regularly, and bathrooms were often not cleaned. When I raised this with a staff member, they acknowledged the issue but cited a lack of personnel. Overall, while the hotel has strong potential, especially for families and guests with mobility needs it would benefit greatly from better staffing, improved cleanliness, and more thoughtful planning for children. I truly hope the management takes this feedback on board to enhance future guest experiences.

Very nice hotel with really attractive gardens. Great location for the beach. The hotel spa was good and indoor pool very relaxing. Our room was spacious, very clean with a lovely power shower. The Breakfast buffet is good with plenty of choice, but could be improved with better coffee and hot drink facility, as had to queue each day at one machine while another 3 were left switched off. The evening meal facility is not worthy of a 5 star hotel with limited choice and no drinks included, not even water or juice offered, so i would strongly recommend only booking breakfast and not half board.
