Astoria Current Boracay truly offers world-class service! From the moment we arrived, every staff member—from reception to housekeeping to engineering—was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. The service was consistently excellent across the board. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit perfect for 4 people, complete with free WiFi, TV, a kitchenette, a bathtub, and both hot and cold showers. The amenities were fantastic, including a well-maintained swimming pool and an in-house restaurant for convenient dining. And best of all—it’s just a 2-minute walk to the beach! What stood out the most was how clean and well-maintained the entire environment was. Services were fast, efficient, and always delivered with a smile. I’m genuinely over the moon with our experience—100% satisfied! Kudos to the owner and all the amazing employees. You absolutely deserve this 5-star review and more recognition. Highly recommended!

Great experience overall. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Clean room and comfortable bed. We booked the superior king deluxe room, so the bed was a king-sized bed. Very comfy and clean. Booking the airport transfer with Astoria Current is highly recommended. The entire duration (from airport > jetty > boracay island > Astoria Current) was less than 1 hour. No queue, no long waiting time. The staff will sort everything out for you. It was almost like a VIP experience. You whizz through the crowd and be escorted to a private speedboat, and off you go to the island. Astoria Current is located in Station 3, which is a little further away from most of the bars and clubs. We had to walk a little to the restaurants for lunch and dinner, but they are all well within walking distance, so no issue for us. On the plus side, because the hotel is situated further away from the bars, your evening is quieter and less rowdy.

This review is from my experience as a first time astoria current customer. Airport transfer - priced at 2000 per person. Superb service. Drivers were professional. Van and speedboat were clean. They even provided cold towels since it was hot outside. Front desk - kudos to Lea who checked us in. Very professional. We arrived earlier than the allowed check in time, but since there were available rooms we were checked in at 11am and we were even upgraded from standard to double room. Room - big and clean. Loved the location of the room. I requested an upper and quiet room. Gave us 468 room which is located corner area. Housekeeping - divine. They always make sure to keep our room clean. Breakfast - loved their breakfast. They have different bread. They serve bacon daily ☺️. Loved their coffee. Location - perfect. Beach front. Station 3 so not so crowded. Staff - they always greet us with a smile The only con is that they do not have a foot bath/wash outside the hotel to wash the sand from our feet. Overall, will come back to this hotel.
