Agree entirely with the previous review but I was on holiday so didn’t need an essential fast wifi connection, in fact mobile connection while roaming in the Czech Republic is poor. The hotel was excellent, large room with tea/coffee making, tv, bath and shower, safe and a fridge. Nice view of the old town from our room. Well located in the north of the Old Town for all attractions. Breakfast was served 7-10 daily. It was varied and plentiful including a good cooked offering. Loved the overnight oats with raisins, peach and cream. Lots of fruit. The smoked Czech sausage served every other day. Good value at £85 per night for two people.

While Astoria was close to the city center, we encountered some challenges during our stay. Our experience got off on the wrong foot when we were assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. This incident highlighted an opportunity for improvement in customer service. We believe that a hotel should prioritise hospitality, and we hope that Astoria can enhance this aspect for future guests. With some adjustments, this hotel has the potential to provide a more welcoming experience.
