This is a great hotel overall. Conveniently located near the train station. The clean, decent room and bathroom met all my expectations. I can’t comment on the breakfast as I had to leave early in the morning. For me, it’s worthy of 5 stars!
I wished i could've given a whole lot more stars, because i am aware that i often make negative reviews. So i am trying my hardest to leave a positive note. Unfortunately that is not the case in my opinion. And its mainly about the hotel rooms and the state they are in. Unsure how other travelers mention how clean they are, as a cleaner myself, i find these rooms gross. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- BED ROOM: The main room is nice and roomy. I appreciate that, more then enough space, but quite sparsely furnished. Nicely sized bed. Although, thats where the positives end. Hygiene should be better for a 4 star hotel. It might be clean for Czechian standards. But since this hotel is trying to go for foreign tourists. Its not. The seating's have at least, in our room. Stains. The floors have not been cleaned when we got here, and i am 90% positive they haven't cleaned the place for new visitors when we arrived. How do i know this? There's dust/filth on the tables or desks. (Maybe a day or two ago this might've been cleaned?) The floor had well, dust scattered. Clearly the place hasn't been vacuumed. There's no real plugs left to be used, as they're occupied by lamps. So you'll have to unplug them for chargers or laptops. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- BATHROOM: Immediately when i went to shower, i felt how the tiles felt below my feet, i was pretty much disgusted. Its greasy and you can even see your shoe marks for where you'd have been walking, it even left footprints. They were clearly not cleaned as well, the sink had long black hairs, the corners of the bathroom weren't clean either. The bathtub leaked near the window? where we were in. (There's no shower curtains so the water scattered everywhere) The bathroom was quick to be wet almost entirely. So we had to spend time to dry it and leave towels everywhere due to massive puddles. The bathtub itself was also slippery and greasy which i was grossed out by. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONCLUSION: The hotel is close to the city center and the main train station. There's decent wifi here, or even downloading speed. Unfortunately. In regards to the state of things. I personally can't recommend this hotel myself since they do not take care of their surroundings. I am assuming they don't know how to keep a basic hygiene standard and use too much cleaning detergent which causes this greasy effect on tiles and bath. The drinking glasses and cups are also filthy. We did ask if they could vacuum the rooms, and clean the bathroom tiles and sink, and how the bathtub leaked. which they sort of rolled their eyes at, as if aware of the state of their rooms. And didn't do nothing. Which is, well. Sad. Because it clearly shows the neglect of this entire hotel such as the hallways and other facilities they may provide. Also, the breakfast gave me day ruining stomach aching. There's too much fat on the bacon and eggs. Don't eat it unless you'd like to bend over in agony on the toilet lol. Simply put, a gross and bad hotel. Not worth to spend 100+ eu at. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Negative experience. Stayed for 3 nights. Room was dirty. A lot of dust on the shelves and the furniture required capital cleaning. Bathroom was okay but wc was leaking. They don’t use the dishwasher.
