at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat

What an absolute pleasure. THANK YOU to the wonderful owner who genuinely saved our entire weekend. After receiving atrocious care elsewhere, we were saved by this wonderful woman and this retreat. The rooms were enormous and clean with literally everything you could want and more. The penthouse was gorgeous with a spa that we could have languished in all weekend and the location is absolutely perfect. We cannot thank the owner enough for her brilliant customer service and quick response. It's beautiful, it's central and it's welcoming!

The location of this place was amazing, good walking distance to bars and cafes. But other than that and the view from the penthouse suite, the money that was paid for it definitely didn’t meet expectations.I had multiple head scratches with the suite, main one being in the master room having no lock on the door and the shower is completely open to be seen by anyone that walks in, meaning no privacy whatsoever,As-well as that the air-cons were set to a certain temperature and you couldn’t put it any lower only higher…meaning some peoples room were colder than others, not to even mention that the lounge room aircon didn’t even work at all, so during the day you can barely enjoy sitting in the lounge room because it was so hot. In the main bedroom the aircon leaked badly onto the ground which was then a slipping hazard and had to constantly keep changing the towels and keep wiping it up. Another thing I didn’t really enjoy was the fact that the cutlery/plates were dirty so it was then our job to clean them again before use. Other than this rant the places view of the marina and the location of it is amazing, as the management the lady was so respectful and cheerful..but all in all certainly not worth the amount of money I paid for.

Run down. When we arrived, toaster was dirty w crumbs. Aircon in the master bedroom is noisy all night. Tv in master is hopeless, no channels to watch. Most importantly WiFi was so bad it’s almost non existent.
