Atagawa Ocean Resort

We went there for our wedding anniversary. It was a great place. We booked corner room. It was very big room with beautiful view. Dinner and breakfast was delicious with many kind of sea food dishes. Pool was with warm water and cafe also near by. Enjoy our day with full of happiness. Thank you for your great hospitality.

I had a very comfortable and relaxing night here. It's only a 5-minute walk from Izu Atagawa Station to the hotel. The room is spacious and newly designed, and the bed is of moderate firmness. There was no queue during check-in. The variety of food at the buffet for dinner and breakfast includes a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines, mainly focusing on fresh seafood from Izu. For dinner, there's seafood rice（DIY sashimi don）, and for breakfast, there's tea-soaked rice, making it a paradise for seafood lovers. In the changing room for the hot springs, they have Refa and Dyson hair dryers. The staff are lovely, friendly, and efficient. What surprised me the most was that it was raining when I arrived, but it didn't affect the beautiful view of the pool from the room at all. Also, guests with dogs can enter the hotel through a dedicated entrance, so there's no need to worry about odors, etc. I look forward to coming back here to unwind in the future! By the way, the coastal scenery along the way from Atami to Izu Atagawa by JR train is breathtaking!

Ok mid spot. Staff were reasonably friendly with only manager speaking some English. Rooms were decent but toilet had an issue and woke to smell of sewer gas at night . Bit dated decor. Good overall offering with in house onsen and pool was nice. Had the buffet breakfast with good variety but wasn’t amazing. Wouldn’t go out of my way to stay again.
