Athenaeum House Hotel

Nice hotel within an old style house. The rooms are spacious, although the decor is a bit dark. The beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent each morning with really nice staff on hand to serve and help. The hotel is set in a quiet area.

This is a nice, quiet boutique hotel seemingly geared towards wedding and/or honeymoon clientele. The location was not difficult to find, as some have said and there was plenty of on-site parking. It is directly across the river from the crystal factory but you must go a bit down the road to cross. We only had dessert and drinks here which were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good size, though, a bit dated. No complaints about the wireless. Our only disappointment came with the lack of air conditioning. Despite the fairly cool nights to be expected, we stayed during a warm summer night. Not so much a problem had the window opened more than 6 inches.

Nice Historic House Hotel that is a little outside of the city. The hotel has a lovely dining room, bar and common area. The room I was in was spacious, nicely decorated and had good bathroom facilities but it was in was in need of a update including the TV, Stereo & mattress, lick of paint and a good dusting.
