Our stay at the InterContinental was absolutely lovely. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed the staff who greeted us at the door were so friendly, and the bell captain was especially helpful and personable. The view from our room was beautiful and waking up to that scenery each morning was a real delight. The location is also fantastic just a short cab ride or an easy train ride (with the station only a block away) to the Parthenon and the charming flea market and shops nearby. The hotel’s restaurant was a highlight. I highly recommend the chicken soup and the penne pesto both were flavorful and comforting. The bolognese was a little overcooked for our taste, but if you ask for it al dente, it would be just right. The spa was incredible. Each member of my family enjoyed their own treatment, and the reflexology (foot massage) was a must especially after all the walking and adventures we took. It was the perfect way to relax and recharge. And don’t miss the buffet. It had an amazing selection with something for everyone. All in all, a wonderful stay. Great service, delicious food, and a perfect location. We would definitely return to this location.
Exceptional hotel! My room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony was remarkable - a picturesque showing of Acropolis, which was gorgeous at sunset and lit up at night. The Club was perfect for lounging and working. The staff was kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and if I'm ever in Athens again, I'll definitely stay again.
Fantastic property. The staff were 10/10 friendly and helpful and make the hotel great. The renovated room I had was gorgeous with black stone shower The hotel was always clean and smelled fantastic entering The rooftop was beautiful and no staff were ever pushy to order too much. Perfect to look at the acropolis. in peak season there is always space. The wine is decently priced and lovely. Everything you order comes with nuts and crunchy chips complimentary. Pool was under renovation but I knew that when I booked so didn't mind. Only downfall is the shower would sometimes go from cool from warm to cool to warm, non stop while showering. Also my shower amenities were half empty upon checking in I would Definitely stay here again though.
