AthensWas Design Hotel

Lovely boutique hotel, situated right in the middle of the Acropolis and the museum, on a pedestrian street with tons of restaurants and shops. Our room was huge and well-appointed, with a nice design sense and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The balcony looked over the pedestrian street below and gave us a fantastic view of the acropolis. The English-speaking front desk staff was friendly and very helpful with our luggage and other services. The included breakfast was a real highlight—lots of choices. The fruit plate was ripe, the croissants were warm and crispy, the poached eggs with guacamole and sesame croutons were perfect. We absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Athens! The service and staff were extremely helpful. For example, they organised a private walking tour for us. The local tour guide said you won't find a better location than AthensWas. Although the hotel is on one of the main tourist streets, our room was quiet and spacious. We walked everywhere and never needed a taxi! Dinner at Sense on the rooftop was magical. Thank you!

Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and so friendly. The location is perfect - walking distance to many sites including the Acropolis. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend AthensWas.
