Athlone Springs Hotel

Just had a lovely meal with my mum and her friend. The food was delicious and all the staff were so friendly. The duty manager from Malaysia was so helpful and a special shout out to Aoife who served our table. We will be back soon..

Wonderful experience using this hotel for training for Irish Red Cross Youth events. We have used the Athlone Springs for our bi-ennial Youth Conference for more than 10 years now and are always delighted with the service we receive. The accommodation is clean, bright and spacious. The conference and meeting facilities (for over 300 delegates at our events) are fantastic and staff are always at hand to assist at the drop of a hat. No request is ever too much, and staff have stepped in to save us on occasions when we have been stuck! I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel for any large meeting or conference.

Lovely comfortable rooms, good value. The staff on reception are excellent. Unfortunately the dining room and bar staff need training. The service is very slow, if they look at you after your seated. Each time it's 20 mins at least before they arrive back to take your order. The food is very well presented and delicious. The bar area is very nicely decorated. Pity that the service really let's it down.
