Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort

I had heard about this place, and had visited a friend there years ago, but this was my first time staying with my daughter, and it did not disappoint. The room was perfect, overlooking the pool and the hot tub, the view exquisite, and the staff very warm and accommodating. There was a restaurant onsite, and plenty of other restaurants and shops in the area, and although I live in Stone Mountain I had never really taken in all the mountain and the attractions had to offer. This was one for the books, just overall nice and relaxing, a staycation away from home. We will definitely be back for Labor Day weekend. I love this place!!!😊

I was supposed to only stay one night here, but my room with the lake view was so wonderful, I booked two more nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even during a busy holiday weekend, the staff remain very personable and calm and tried to do all they could to keep the guests happy. I had two issues today though, one was that the mattress?It was so soft and I did not sleep well for 2 out of 3 nights. I was in room two forty, and they need to replace that mattress. Also there were no shares provided on the balcony. I loved the outdoor pool, the shuttle service, and the amenities that went along with Stone mountain park. The staff right was very exceptional and pleasant to deal with. I really cannot wait until my next visit there.

Resort was very nice, beautiful location, and hotel staff friendly. Starbucks staff could be nicer, we used because no coffee in our room, but they supplied after we asked. I really had no complaints of hotel. We had 2 queens switched from a King so grandchildren had space, but beds were double size at that and not comfortable for us. The hotel itself was great. Pool area could have been cleaner and the biggest let down the outside bar area never open the 3 days there. We were there to relax and would have been nice if available. The location is inside the park, so 1 day parking was a $20 fee for the entire stay. Would definitely stay again. Stone Mountain park had special on line so worked out great.. kids just loved it.
