Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta

Upon checking n they had two young ladies that were in such a pleasant and fun greeting mood it put me in a great mood both Cassidy and Morgan are amazing value added employees for Marriott Regardless of the business travel issues I had getting in from Iowa they erased all of my tensions with their positive attitudes and smiles. My room was cool and clean and they even provided me a complimentary drink at the bar in recognition of my titanium status which was above and beyond. I couldn't recommend the hotel and staff more.

Hotel was nice -the actual room was clean but the bathroom that's a different story . There's mold on the baseboard of the bathroom,- the bathroom has no working fan ,and the floor was filthy in the bathroom. For an upscale hotel and to have no bathroom ventilation is unacceptable. The night before we stayed at The Hilton down the road-it was more money -but I can say it was spotless and the bathroom was ventilated. We moved hotels because we could not get a room for the following night-sold out.

This is a disappointing Marriott. The lobby is lovely. Everything else is not so much. The rooms are tired. The aircon struggles. The TV struggles (lag as if we are back in the 90s). The elevator is like a freight thing from the 80s. The list goes on. Nothing dramatic but a compilation of things that add up to a bad experience. We overlooked a hideous industrial rooftop. The staff were unhelpful and frankly didn’t seem like they wanted to be there : can we get a king room? “No” But there are like 300 rooms and 20 cars here! “Nope”. End of conversation. I get it. If a room is unavailable, fine! But make an effort!
