Atlantic Affair Boutique Hotel

Two family members stayed at the Atlantic Affair Boutique hotel in September 2024. I had handled their booking. Both loved it. They report: Modern, spacious, safe and compliments to Cindy at front desk, you are an asset to this hotel! Also, one of the housekeepers who kept their place clean, thank you. The gowns and slippers were a sweet touch. Beautiful beach, pity the weather was rather cold for a comfortable swim. Convenient for a sight-seeing trip around Cape Town. Cabs readily available and affordable. Amenities close by and lots to do. They enjoyed their time here and would gladly return if in Cape Town. Thank you, N.N.

The hotel is neat, considering there's much construction everywhere. Don't come here if you want peace and quiet. The bed was epic, XXL

Where to begin… I suppose the photos and videos will tell the story better. There is a huge disconnect between the website and the actual hotel. Instead of a lovely view, you’re greeted with a view of neglected apartment blocks, and the noise from the area is unbearable. As a result, I only managed to get 2 hours of sleep on the first night. Additionally, the air conditioning ( leaking water)was broken, and the shower was dirty. I asked to be moved, but unfortunately, the hotel only offers guest services between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. The following morning, I reported the issues to a gentleman in scrubs, hoping that things would be better by the evening, but sadly, nothing was resolved. The “emergency number” leads to security, who is not equipped to assist. I would not recommend this hotel, and I am surprised by its current rating.
