I had such a fantastic stay at the Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were outstanding — Kike at reception and Neil made me feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout. Jan at the breakfast bar was just lovely — always cheerful and friendly — and the bar staff went above and beyond every time. The roof garden was without a doubt the highlight of my stay. The view of the Liver Buildings was spectacular, especially in the evenings. I spent most of my time up there — it’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, and such a unique feature for a city hotel. I genuinely loved it and can’t wait to go back. My room was a bit small, and the hallways could use some updating, but honestly, it didn’t matter — the air conditioning worked perfectly during a heatwave, keeping my room wonderfully cool and comfortable the entire time. Overall, it’s the staff, the atmosphere, and that stunning roof garden that made this stay special. I’d 100% recommend it and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The only reason we gave a three is because the bathroom is quite small. You keep hitting your elbows either on the toilet roll holder or the shower door. The rest of the room is perfect. The hotel is in a great location. The staff are lovely and friendly. Food is good. Lots of it.
