Just back from a 7 day stay at the Atlantica Amalthia. Amazing hotel, lucky enough to get a room with a pool just outside. Great selection at breakfast and all staff bubbly and friendly. Rooftop bar has great views and is a must. Big shout out to the ladies at reception and especially Joanna who arranged for a private taxi back from Falasarna beach. Thank you.
Good hotel on the beach. Quite expensive restaurant. The room service is well below average when it comes to cleaning. The front desk is very Nice and always ready to help. Nice pools and sunbeds
The Good: The hotel exterior and general appearance are really nice and well maintained. It gives off a premium, relaxing vibe right from the start. Breakfast was excellent – varied, fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The beach setup was one of the highlights: for 10 EUR, you get two sunbeds and an umbrella, plus two bottles of water and two small bowls of fresh fruit – a great touch and totally worth it. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful – they assisted us with everything we needed and were always polite. The Bad: The Wi-Fi in the rooms was almost unusable. Internet connection only worked decently in the reception area, which was frustrating given the price level of the hotel. The light cleaning service, provided every two days, was poorly done. We left half-full wine glasses on the table – they were never removed during the entire stay. Hair in the bathroom remained there from one day to the next. Despite being an adults-only hotel, the cleaning staff was extremely loud in the morning – yelling at each other across hallways from 8–9 AM, making it difficult to sleep or relax. That defeated the whole purpose of choosing a quiet adults-only experience. The pool sunbeds were always occupied, even early in the morning. Although the hotel had a “no reservation” policy, many guests still “reserved” spots, and no one enforced the rules. We could never find a free spot by the pool, which was disappointing. If these issues are improved, this hotel could easily become a top choice for couples looking for a peaceful beach escape. Right now, it looks great and has potential, but the details – especially housekeeping and service discipline – need more attention.
