Overall is a very good value for the money. The hotel is outdated but lean the rooms are ok and clean. The food on the pool and room service is excellent, the breakfast is very good. The hotel also offer free parking. It is in front of the beach. The staff was super friendly and most of them has worked there for many years. I travel to Brazil at least six times a year for work and the location is perfect for me. Recreio is south o Barra da Tijuca and the prices are usually cheaper at Recreio dos Bandeirantes. I absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone
The price for the service is excellent, but there are better ones, and all reservations include breakfast.
The style is outdated but clean and well kept. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. My issue is from the fact there is NO heat in the rooms and no space heater is provided. I been sick from the day I checked in and I changed my airline reservation to leave a week earlier. I feel like a prisoner in my room because there is no where I. An find any heat for my arthritis in my legs and knees. I sooooo disappointed 😞
