Atlantis Marcoola

I've stayed in accommodation from cabins to 5 star+ hotels internationally and around Australia. I rarely give a review let alone a 5 star review. I booked direct through Atlantis and everything from the first phone call to booking out was easy. The process of booking is very organized and professional. The location is perfect if you want to relax and take in a beautiful view. I particularly love that there is no traffic noise that many beachfront apartments on the Sunshine Coast have. So it's very quiet. You go to sleep to the sound of the waves and wake to the sound of the waves and native birds We stayed in a 2 bedroom rooftop apartment. The rooftop is the most usable rooftop I've ever seen. The view is beautiful. Lovely spa and BBQ area within the privacy of your own rooftop apartment. The lounge area has seating that comfortably seats everyone, making the living area very sociable. The kitchen is a full kitchen and easy to use. Beds are very comfortable. Very clean and lovely newly renovated space The beach is great for walks with a surf patrol on the doorstep. Now the pool. OMG. I swim for exercise in my routine at home. You can comfortably lap 25 meters. The pool environment is stunning with so much room that you don't feel like you are sharing a public space. The staff are friendly, very accommodating and lovely to interact with. Nothing is a problem. Can't recommend this place high enough.

We have stayed at Atlantis Marcoola for our family holidays for a few years now and will definitely go back again! We live in Tasmania and are a family of 6 so Atlantis is perfect for us and our budget, the airport is conveniently close and we take full advantage of 50c bus fares (the bus stop is right outside the resort) instead of hiring a car. You can get your groceries delivered but can also eat out or order in from the surrounding and nearby businesses. We stay in a 3 bedroom rooftop, with plenty of space, lovely views and a spa for relaxation plus a BBQ. Staff are always friendly and helpful if a need arises. Our kids love the pool and jumping pillow plus the other things available for the active ones. The ocean is right there with no need to cross a road to build sand castles or have an ocean paddle. We just enjoy the fact that we can come for a relaxing holiday and be with our family, thanks Atlantis Marcoola.

Spacious lounge area with A/C, well-appointed bedrooms, kitchen with adequate working space and food storage, usable balcony, and heavy curtains in all rooms. Modern TVs plus good internet bandwidth. "Can-do", responsive front-desk service with well-supplied info kiosk on things to do and see on the Sunshine Coast. Top end large but safe heated pool, good spa, working BBQs, cosy sun lounges, and a good range of things for kids of all ages to amuse themselves. Adjacent to a patrolled beach and a dense eco-bushland reserve full of birdlife. Easy walking distance to a wide range of excellent coffee shops, affordable eateries, and the full range of takeaways. Centrally located within easy driving distance of interesting shops, sporting facilities, and amusement parks.
