Atlantis Palace Hotel

Nice hotel with swimming pool, across the street they have a bar at the beach also. Hotel is also excellent for dinner at the evening with view at the Etna (if you can sit outside)

Nice location, and rooms were good for the price paid. There was a group of around 40 teenagers staying on our floor. They were very noisy, shouting, running through the corridors and knocking on doors etc. called reception at 11.05pm and complained that it was too noisy to sleep, the answer I got was it's a Saturday night......tried to get to sleep again but no lucky. At 12.15am went down to reception where there was a baptism party and a disco so they couldn't hear the noise....was told that there were no teenagers on our floor....we saw them coming in and out of rooms.....reception sent someone to check but nothing was done. Very disappointed about the way the night receptionist handled it....it was very obvious that he lied.

A nightmare experience – avoid this hotel at all costs! The hotel is extremely old, dirty, and completely unprofessional. We informed them in advance that we’d be arriving late and paying in cash, yet the receptionist still tried to charge our card before we even arrived – shady and unacceptable. When we got there, we paid €670 in cash, but received no receipt or invoice – a very suspicious practice. The room was in terrible condition: cracked and dirty walls, an old and uncomfortable bed, worn-out sheets and towels, and a lift that felt unsafe and ancient. We left the next morning, as it was impossible to stay another night in such conditions. We requested a refund for the 3 unused nights, but were clearly told we wouldn’t get any money back, both at the reception and in response to multiple emails sent via the hotel’s official website. Avoid this place! It’s a scam and a complete disgrace to the hospitality industry. Not even worth one star. We will report this to the relevant consumer protection authorities.
