All positives, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the stay was 10/10. We wanted somewhere a bit out the way, somewhere peaceful we could relax but could still pop out and do things if we wanted and this was exactly that. They picked us up and dropped us back to the airport, booked a hot air balloon excursion and arranged an amazing cake for my partners birthday which was all above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more and will definitely be back!
First of all the people working in this hotel who are so super friendly, helpful, fun to be with 🥰 Then for everyone who is in need of a special diet like me for example GLUTEN FREE, they do everything to make it as special as for any other guest. Just take a look at some of my pictures. The calming environment makes it easy to enjoy meeting the other guests. And then the spa….. Asma is so kind and such a great masseuse. I realy want tho thank everybody of thes team!
Horrible experience staying here, had to check out a day early as a result. Ordered a taxi to take us into town and pick us up which is the only option as this place is 30mins away from anything. Was quoted verbally and in writing 150Dhs each way by reception staff but when I arrived the taxi driver was claiming the price as 250 each way. Explained to staff that this was not as quoted. Shortly after the manager arrives and tells me that the staff will cover the difference. Return upstairs and then 5 minutes later the manager turns up saying that he has "changed his mind" and demanding I pay the higher amount in front of my family whilst we are having dinner. Felt like I was being extorted for money from the mistake of his staff. My children did not feel safe. Very unpleasant attitude and unprofessional behaviour from this individual purporting to be the manager who is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Morocco. Reply Update: I'm pleased that you replied Mustafa. The contempt that you hold for any paying guest with a legitimate complaint about your establishment is plain to see for anyone reading this. Your false allegations of racism against me are a continuation of your tactics to confuse, conceal and obfuscate an error made by your staff. A hotel manager with the most basic of training in guest communications and complaints handling would have defused this situation by a simple acknowledgement that a misunderstanding must have occurred and a token gesture of goodwill. You, however, lack even this competence and resort instead to abusing your guests. What is more shocking is that you do so in a position of representing the tourist association in Marrakech as General Secretary. Perhaps it is because you hold this position that you feel entitled to behave in this way but this is very wrong. You are doing a huge disservice to tourism in Marrakech and should feel deep shame at your conduct in this situation.
