Though really expensive, the resort is a good option for enjoying a relaxing day in a beautiful place so nicely maintained. 3 large swimming pools, direct access to the beach where to snorkel in the middle of incredible corals and fishes a few meters from the shore. We even saw an enormous turtle! Food is ok, but do not order the pork ribs (only fat). Top level service. But again, you can find much better value for money options closeby.

Between dives or after dinner, guests can relax at either of the two on-site bars, both offering tropical drinks and laid-back vibes. Diving at Atmosphere is where the resort truly shines. The dive shop is one of the best in the region, operating 6–8 boats ranging from small, private vessels to larger group boats. The flexibility of the smaller boats allows solo divers—especially underwater photographers and cinematographers—to head out independently, maximizing the chances of capturing rare and beautiful marine life. The dive center is also well-equipped to accommodate both recreational and technical divers. With two spacious classrooms, dedicated rinse and gear areas, and knowledgeable staff, it’s ideal for group trips, PADI training, or advanced diving education. The dive guides are outstanding—not only highly trained in safety protocols but also incredibly skilled at spotting unique critters hidden in the sand and coral. Whether you’re hunting for frogfish, nudibranchs, or ghost pipefish, they always deliver. Beyond diving, Atmosphere continues to impress. The outdoor gym is one of the best I’ve seen at a dive resort, making it easy to stay active between dives. Dining options are wide-ranging and consistently excellent—whether you’re looking for fresh local fare, international favorites, or something more refined. If you’re looking for a dive resort that combines luxury, flexibility, and professionalism at every level, Atmosphere Resort & Spa is hard to beat. It’s a place where divers, photographers, and wellness seekers alike will feel at home—and spoiled.

The hotel is located in Dauin, where most resorts are found. The landscape is beautiful and gives a sense of both luxury and comfort. Since it's far from the city, it feels exclusive, peaceful, and relaxing. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with refreshing drinks. The staff were very friendly and gave us a quick tour of the place. On our first night, we tried dishes from their restaurant. The food was excellent—everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly. The restaurant staff were very attentive, and the ambiance was superb. Highly recommended for special occasions. After dinner, we returned to our room and were pleasantly surprised to find it already cleaned and made up. The bed was tidy, and the towels were neatly arranged. Impressive how they managed to do this while we were out. The next morning, we asked the staff to prepare packed breakfasts since we had an early excursion. Even though the restaurant was still closed, they prepared and delivered our meals on time. Just like dinner, the breakfast was delicious and high quality. They even included packed fruits to go with it. When we got back for our second night, we were greeted with handwritten notes and sweet treats. A really thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay at Atmosphere Resorts and Spa was amazing. The peaceful surroundings made for a restful and energizing sleep. The mattress and pillows were soft and clean. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely book again when we return to Dumaguete.
