Atrium Apart Hotel Brühl

Mini studio apartment with balcony, very clean and all facilities included - pots & pans available. Mugs, glasses, plates etc all available. Excellent rain shower and very large shower cell. However, please make sure that if it's summertime you specify that your room has air-conditioning!

It was super clean, had everything that I could need to cook dinner, a nice balcony over looking train tracks, but you couldn’t hear it from inside closed doors. I love the self-check in. Each room has a nice nespresso pod machine, that makes excellent coffee. The only thing that could be better is a smart function of the TV is disabled. I don’t speak Deutsch so I wanted to mirror my phone, but was unable due to the fact the tv is not connected to the same network as the phone. The function to connect the tv to WiFi is turned off/ greyed out. I had to watch a program on my small phone instead of the tv. Overall this place is nice, clean, quiet and I’d pay a lot more to stay here than what was charged.

The check-in terminal needs some work. The reservation number on the confirmation email did not match the number available on the terminal. When checking in, the terminal also quoted that the booking was for different rooms ("Comfort" instead of "Superior"), but this seemed to be nothing more than a mistake on the terminal. While the above was a little concerning and less than ideal, the check-in process was quick, contactless, and easy enough. The rooms are of excellent quality, size & cleanliness. Bedding is comfortable. The kitchen facilities are modern and in good order. Both internal and external doors are all decently soundproofed, though noise was audible from adjacent rooms—from above/below especially. However, the hotel was generally very quiet and peaceful. Bathroom amenities are provided, including towels and soaps, and the bathroom facilities (shower especially) are top-notch. The cleaning team didn't seem to do too much during our visit; we had to ask for our toilet roll to be replaced and the hair & body wash was not replenished at the start of our stay. The hotel's location is agreeable, being less than a ten minute walk from the nearest station, a Lidl, and a couple restaurants. Perfect for couples or groups of friends, the Atrium Apart Hotel Brühl offers a very comfortable & enjoyable stay.
