Certainly excellent value for money at the price point. We spend three nights here over the Easter weekend, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and the value for money received. Check-in was easy and friendly, and the room was well stocked with a range of amenities, maybe a little bit above and beyond what one would normally expect with a hotel of this type, with basic bathroom kits being provided as well as the usual range of facilities. The room was of a good size, with a large and comfortable bed. Although the design of the hotel meant that there was no external window to the room (the one window faced onto the well-lit internal atrium), the room always felt well-ventilated, and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was included in the rate and was of a very good standard; the usual range of breads, meats, cheeses, and salads that one usually associates with a central European breakfast, as well as a limited hot selection of eggs, sausages, and other items. The only small downside was that the bathroom was a little bit tired, with the door to the shower cubicle being a little damaged, however this did not detract from our stay. Also, the neighbourhood around the hotel is perhaps not the most salubrious - whilst nearby transport connections are exceptional, the area around Blaha Lujza Ter did not seem to be the most pleasant, particularly after dark. Either way, we would gladly stay here again, given the exceptional value for money offered by the hotel.

Good points - Excellent Central Location, Clean, Really Comfy Beds (probably the best ive ever had at a hotel!) Polite Friendly Staff. Bad points - No windows in the room apart from one looking out to the corridor so if you want any privacy you cant open your curtains. I wasnt expecting a view but atleast a window for some fresh air and daylight, the fact the rooms are sold as having "Atrium View" is quite misleading. No ventilation in the rooms so they get very stuffy even with air con on, this is particularly annoying overnight because you either have to spend the night hot and stuffy or sleep with a noisy air con in, just a bit of ventilation would have made a huge difference. The windows are said to be soundproofed but we was on the top floor (floor 4) and once breakfast starts at 7.30am it is very loud and you can hear the noise from downstairs very clearly. The rooms are very clean and tidy but the bathroom could definitely do with some love. Also this wont be relevant to some but there are only 3 plug sockets in the room which are all together by the TV which is nowhere near a mirror (one in the bathroom and one in the wardrobe) so this makes getting ready quite difficult, again not relevant to some but I found it quite annoying. Apart from breakfast which was ok there are very limited facilities, so if like us you arrive on a late flight we had to go walking around looking for somewhere to get something to eat and drink at midnight. Even a vending machine would make a difference. All in all this hotel was ok for the weekend and again the location is excellent, no more than 15 mins in a taxi to everywhere we wanted to visit.

The overall impression is terrible, the quality of the hotel does not match 4 stars. There were no slippers or bathrobes in the room. The reception staff were rude, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them. We arrived at 2 PM, and there was a small group of people checking in together. There were two girls at the reception, and when I approached one of them who seemed free, I was asked to wait. Later, they rudely called us over, and it felt like I was causing them trouble. The waiting time wasn’t an issue, but their attitude was! When we checked out at night, the man at reception was also rude and seemed to smile sarcastically. The breakfast had little variety, and the coffee from the machine was awful. The window in our room faced the corridor, so people walking by could see what was happening inside! Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.
