Had a great experience staying here! The place was clean and the area seemed quite central. We got massages in our room which was quite convenient and lovely. The only drawback for me was that our room was on the street but earplugs helped with sleeping at night. All of the staff were lovely but Hannah, the lovely day receptionist, told us where to get the best egg coffee - which it was - and she really went out of her way for us/our needs during our 3 day stay. I enjoyed the coffee at breakfast too and their food options. Hanoi ended up being my favorite place out of all the places we visited in SE Asia and I think the experience at this hotel played a big role in it so thank you hotel and Hannah!

This place has mixed reviews on both trip advisor and google. We had a good overall experience. Our room was clean, the staff was extremely pleasant. The hotel is in a fairly good location, however we were facing the street which was incredibly loud. The hotel had a bit of a musty smell in the lobby but our room was great. The breakfast was excellent. There is a small buffet and then the staff brings you a menu to order either western style or Vietnamese style breakfasts. I had the beef pho every day it was very good. We paid 27 dollars per night which is incredible value for the service.

My friends and I booked 3 rooms at this hotel and were warmly greated by the staff at reception with some welcome drinks. As we got into our rooms, one of the rooms we booked was infested with mould and had a damp smell. The superior room was infested with bed bugs and all three beds had left over hair from previous guests. When we tried to ring reception to change rooms, no one would pick up and the phone was left ringing (we could physically hear the telephone ringing through the fire stairs). My friend decided to go down to reception herself but got stuck in the elevator. After a few minutes, the lift started up again. We decided to change hotels and asked if we could have a refund. The “tour manager” was speaking to us in a rude manner when we asked for a refund. He continued to raise his voice as we kept asking for a refund saying that we were too young to be travelling Vietnam. We are Vietnamese Australians who travel to Vietnam once or twice a year (ages 23-28) and never have we received such outrageous customer service. Would never recommend for anyone to stay as the higher price point was definitely not worth the bed bugs.
