Au Ralenti Du Lierre

Great little Bed & Breakfast. The staff is friendly, the rooms comfortable and they have amazing Chocolate Croissants at breakfast. Lovely pool area as well - bonus: they have a sauna & hot tub!

Really lovely hotel in a convenient location in Provence. It was a shame that we only stayed for one night as we had such a pleasant experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Au Ralenti and wish we had stayed for more than one night. The house is gorgeous, the room and bathroom are huge. They had air conditioning in April (it's a big deal in France in April). The beds and the blankets were comfortable. We slept really well. The hosts were kind and helpful. We used the spa, it was nice. We didn't use the pool, the weather was a bit chilly to take advantage of it. The location is a quick 5 minute drive to Gordes. The home is beautifully decorated. We loved the experience and the ambience. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast. It was cold, mostly pastries and cake that didn't taste fresh. Not a lot of options. I wish they offered eggs/omelette. We had booked and paid for a room for 3, but for some reason the breakfast was only for 2. We had to pay extra for our kid who barely ate. Despite the host being with us the entire time during breakfast and watching how much we ate, our daughter was picking at a one small piece of bread and she still charged us for breakfast for our daughter. I would recommend staying here and making it your base if you are visiting around the area.
