I would recommend this hotel, and if we pass this region again I will go there again. We stayed 4 nights. The room we had was very comfortable and 10/10 for cleanliness. We ate at the bistro once and it was good. The staff overall was helpful and friendly, though it did depend on the person. Breakfast was excellent!

American tourist here. This is a great place to stay. It’s centrally located in the Loire Valley so it’s easy access to most of the popular chateaux. While I wasn’t biking, they do have a dedicated bike shed for those on cycling tours. They also have several car chargers for EV. The staff are incredibly attentive and happy to accommodate requests. While we were staying there we were unaware of who the owners were. But Aurelie Rialland runs the front of the house while her husband Eric is the chef. She is very present in operations. They are very smart managers in that they profit share with the staff. So every employee is very invested in ensuring the guests are happy. The food in the restaurants was excellent though very French. Breakfasts covered all tastes - eggs, bread, cereals, etc. You will not be disappointed staying here.

This is indeed a beautiful hotel. Very modern and very clean. Stunning bedrooms and bathrooms. The service is also very good. Staff are polite, professional and helpful. The breakfast is just excellent. Shame they didn’t do a bed and breakfast rate because it’s the best breakfast we have ever had in any hotel! But the booking system offered room only or half board. There was so much variety: plenty of healthy options as well as eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes and even a glass of bubbly if you so wished. The bistro dinner, on the other hand, did not quite hit the mark for us. The Baba Ganoosh to share was great but was an extra 7€. Not sure why there was an extra charge when we had already paid for a 3 course meal (which wasn’t cheap to begin with). But I love dips and I didn’t fancy anything else on the starter list…My fish dish was a little too rich but also bland and didn’t come with any other sides or potatoes. Dessert was okay. We felt the drinks to be a little over priced. There are no mini fridges in the rooms but if you would like one then there is a charge of €20 a day. On the other hand, our room had a cafetière, fresh coffee and a kettle. All in all, it’s a lovely hotel but those additional charges for certain items, we felt, were unnecessary.
