Augusta Lucilla Palace

This hotel is conveniently located walking distance from Rome's main train station. Our first night we got an upgraded room without even asking. When we returned we got the room we paid for which was small, but it was clean. Francesca at the front desk was lovely as is all their staff, but Jayson goes above and beyond for the guests. He's so friendly and always smiling and offering coffee and chatting with the guests. I stayed one night at their sister hotel the Impero, which is almost as nice. If I ever return to Rome, I'd stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Augusta Lucilla Palace in Rome! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The location is great — it’s relatively close to all the main attractions, and we were able to get around easily on foot or by public transport. We booked a stay with breakfast included, and it was definitely worth it! There was a nice variety every morning, and everything was fresh and delicious — a perfect start to our days exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome. Thank you to the whole team at Augusta Lucilla for making our trip so enjoyable!

Room 506! Air con was powerful, beds were comfortable, we got one of the 5 balconies which was great. Our room was a small double but comfortable and had what we needed. Would have been nice to have more clothes storage/hangers in the wardrobe and also complimentary slippers. The beds were cool and have a massage and position altering control remote. The bar however is never open and is used more as a chill out space. There is their sister hotel a 2 minute walk away with a rooftop terrace bar and a spa. But all in all a good base to come back to after a long day out in rome in the 39 degree heat!
