The hotel building is steeped in history, yet impeccably maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly, a special thanks to Ester for the birthday card and cake waiting in our room upon arrival! Room service was prompt and beautifully presented. Housekeeping was excellent, even offering an evening service. We also appreciated the chance to try the unique St. Thomas beer at the Brewery Restaurant, which was a great touch. Kudos to the entire team and management, keep up the fantastic work!
My wife, Diane, and I spend 3 wonderful days in Prague at the Augustine Hotel. The room was quite comfortable, including a King sized bed. Our reservation included breakfast from the Augustine's on site restaurant which was quite elegant. The service was excellent beginning with the bellman delivering our luggage to our room promptly. The maid service was unseen, but always completed. The front desk staff was quite friendly at check-in, and any other time we had a need to know something. And, the concierge was outstanding with directions, reservations, and a tour of the facility including a working Monastery. Diane and I would highly recommend the Augustine! Bill
The staff at this hotel were fantastic! The location was good, quiet inside the hotel and the breakfast was worth the add on! However, I wouldn't considered this hotel a Luxury Collection. The rooms are old and need a remodel. The first room we were given was down its own hallway with an elevator nearby. As soon as you were near the elevator you were hit with a sour smell that made its way into the room. The staff were kind enough to offer us another room which was better until we turned on the a/c. We came back to the room after awhile and it was musty and smelled from the a/c. The touch points in the room and bathroom have lost their finishes, the shower head was pretty gross and some of the linens were falling apart (pictured). We came from an Autograph collection that was fantastic, so expectations were high going to a luxury collection and we were disappointed. Again, the staff was nice and pleasant, but this hotel should not be a luxury collection. Look at the Hotel Imperial in Vienna, THAT is a luxury collection hotel.
