Aurelia Rooms

It is just a short walk from the train station. It's a 15-20 minutes walk to the main sites around the Arena, Herb Square etc where there are more food options, but it is a very quiet location even though it's on a main street. There are helpful suggestions in the in-room booklet. My room was very spacious and clean. The signage from the street is quite small, so I actually walked past it without noticing.

No check in desk, no one to actually talk to. Received prr-arrival animated message asking for passport details etc 3 days before, replied immediately and asked about confirming check in and check out times and bag storage, no response at all. WiFi was not working, again messaged number, no response. Only got access codes at time of normal check in but difficult to follow instructions. Not helpful at all. Also received the disable access room which had window in bathroom with atable and chairs directly outside it. Someone could easily break in through this window and zero privacy! Only good thing to say was location ideal both to get into Verona and next to train and bus stations. 10mins walk either way

We booked a reservation there and when we arrived they told us that our room was broken. So they booked a hotel for us, the room was really old and smell bad. Since we have allergies we asked for another room and the woman from Aurelia told us there was nothing she could do. So in summary, we booked a room never got that we paid and were sent to a really bad hotel nearby. I would not recommend for anyone to go trough this experience.
