I had an exceptional 4-day stay at the Aurora Del Benessere hotel. Thanks to Massimiliano for the warm welcome every morning at breakfast, thanks to Stefano for the delicious cocktails at the pool bar and the sharing of ideas for enjoying the city. The rooms are very clean, the hotel is secure for a woman traveling alone like I did. Special thanks to Aurora and Francesca, two women who work as receptionist and who made my trip amazing! They introduced me to atypical and magnificent places for swimming, Aurora explained to me the whole history of Puglia and especially its village Castro during a guided tour. Francesca is a professional photographer who has captured unforgettable moments! Francesca and Aurora also introduced me to Otranto and took me to dinner at Poggiardo on my last day. They are very generous and lovely people, do not hesitate to ask them for places and information on the history to enrich your experience.
Room was nice, we had a double and a single for our daughter. Very clean but the main shower head was broken, not a big problem as there was a smaller one. Nice facilities, the pool especially good with a bar which was open a lot. Spa facilities were an extra if wanted. The restaurant was lovely food, we are there twice. Dessert was a frozen, even the tiramisu but starters and main we're very good!
I and my husband stayed there for only one night. It's a four level building and the interior is enough good. Our room was clean as the common spaces were. The exterior pool is amazing, in front of the Adriatic sea. Where you can pass a relaxing time, Lucio a member of the hotel staff, was very kindly with us. The breakfast was satisfactory with a good service. Teodoro, a receptionist, was very gentle during the reservation phase and also when we arrived in hotel, he was hospitable with us. We had a little problem with Aircon, the could not be managed in a few time, unfortunately these things can happen, however the staff was available. In short I can say it was enough a great experience
