Would 10 out of 10 recommend staying at AQR if you find yourself planning a trip Saariselka, Finland. We stayed for two nights in late March and had a wonderful experience. Service The owners and hosts are incredibly attentive and kind. From your initial greeting to send off Nina and Pasi make you feel like valued patrons of an exclusive experience. The staff is also kind and accommodating, with great recommendations and knowledge of the surrounding area. We also booked all excursions through the resort which made coordination very convenient. We enjoyed the aurora hunting and husky excursion, both were very enjoyable. The main dining had great breakfast included, limited lunch options, and delicious rotating dinner menu. Location Located only 35 minutes from Ivalo airport the resort was easy to get to and the resort also offers arranged transportation, for a reasonable fee. Room The rooms were great with great scenic views from the room. There is a dedicated small space for luggage and clothes to be hung along with a bathroom that’s small but luxurious. We enjoyed the room overall, however I’ll note there is no way to block the morning sun and no full length mirror.
Greetings from Perth, Western Australia. We travelled here for our honeymoon in 2023. Two years later I’m still thinking about the experience its one of those places. The host was so friendly and memorable, the food, the room… everything was perfect my only regret is not staying longer and it’s on my bucket list to return.
Our stay in the igloos was truly exceptional. The facilities were luxurious, with thoughtful attention to every detail. The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and friendly service. Our guide for the experiences was both knowledgeable and personable, adding so much value to each outing. All of our tours were seamlessly arranged through the hotel, making the entire trip effortless and enjoyable. It was an unforgettable holiday – we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
