Austria Trend Hotel Europa Salzburg

I recently stayed at Austria Trend Hotel Europa Salzburg with family and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has an inviting atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. While the housekeeping could use some improvement, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the stay. One of the highlights is the breakfast served on the top floor, offering a generous spread along with stunning panoramic views of the mountains—an ideal way to start the day. The hotel’s location is unbeatable. Situated right next to both the bus and railway stations, it's probably the best-connected hotel in all of Salzburg, making transportation incredibly convenient. Most tourist attractions are either a short walk or a quick ride away, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend Austria Trend Hotel Europa to fellow travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value in Salzburg.

Our stay had some positives - great air conditioning, proximity to public transport, kind staff. Unfortunately, we found the curtains did not darken the room at night and our room was not clean. The first night we checked in and specified no room cleaning the next day (as we normally do on the first night). Soon we discovered chunks of dirt, used pimple patches on the furniture, and gunk stuck to the bathroom counter. We requested cleaning service for the next day but these things remained. By then we were leaving and didn’t have time to go register a complaint. Also, be aware that being by public transport means homeless families living in the nearby green space. It is upsetting to see nude children and people publicly going to the bathroom on the grass. Would love to know what the city is doing to help them.

I tried to leave Salzburg with good memories, but I couldn't. 1. The main reason I stayed at this hotel was the system that allowed me to leave my luggage after checking out. Until last month, I saw a review that said I could leave my luggage after checking in, and I even checked with a female employee on the day I checked in, but suddenly, the male employee responded that I could not leave my luggage when I checked out. I went to the Obb luggage storage as well, but there was no room, so I asked if I could leave it for once, and the policy was changed two weeks ago, so I said no to the end. We didn't have time to ask for that policy, but we were disappointed at the response from the employee who said, "We wouldn't have used this hotel if we had known this would have happened," and that we shouldn't have made eye contact. Does it make sense that all the staff members know about different policies? Please check if the policy has really changed. 2.
