Avantgarde Urban Levent

I stayed at AvantGarde Urban for a week for location proximity. It is nice Hotel from outside and the rooms look good with great amenities, except after three nights of stay, one afternoon I came back to my room around 4pm and the house keeping just started cleaning my room, unfortunately I noticed how dirty the mattress was but I thought it was just one spot and ignored it, I refused the cleaning team for the rest of my stay so I tried to change the bed sheet my self and I removed the bed sheet and I noticed, it was the whole mattress dirty with the stain, I contacted the manager and he instantly moved me to much more decent and clean room in which it was appreciated. But my advice to the hotel is in order for their wonderful hotel to stay in the business, they need to change the mattresses. It is awful to keep mattresses in such condition. House keeping needs more training and they have to share information with their supervisor.

I stayed here for two nights. At end of my last day I noticed red spots on my legs and arms. When checking out, I told the receptionist that they should check the room as I developed those symptoms after checking in. They shrugged and said they clean daily (as if normal cleaning eliminates any bugs). After I returned home, I went to the doctor and the diagnosis is bug bites. I sent an email to the hotel telling them that they should pest control the hotel. I also sent them my doctor report. They DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO RESPOND. Stay here if you like all kind of animals.

When I spoke to the receptionist yesterday’s eve, he told me to return to my room and said he would call me. Hours passed, I didn’t receive any call, so I called by myself. First call: he hung up on me. Second call: he transferred the call to housekeeping the moment he heard my voice! Third call: he finally responded and told me he couldn’t blame anyone, even though the cameras showed that only housekeeping staff had entered the room. No compensation, no effort to find the missing items, and not even an apology…
